About Us In 1917, Jay Weber started a pawnshop in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. He later took on partner, Ike. In the 1940s Ike's brother-in-law, Ben assumed control of Weber's pawnshop. Ben's daughter, Sonya, worked at Weber's beginning as a young girl. She married Mitch, an architecture student, in 1955. In 1961 Ben persuaded Mitch to come work at Weber's. Over the years as Ben wanted to retire, Mitch assumed control of Weber's. In 1975, Mitch not being able to find a clean Fry porcelain sign to complete his restoration of a pump decided to make the minimum of 50 needed for an order of a newly manufactured sign. He ran an ad in hopes of selling some of them.

Within days he had orders for over 200 pieces plus requests for other signs. As business grew, his daughter, Marsha came to work with him in 1981 and was later joined by her husband, Tim.

The nostalgia business flourished while the pawnshop continued. The pawnshop is now closed. Sonya has since retired. And, Weber's is now in a bigger building in southeast Fort Worth. As long as nostalgia continues to be a fun and popular hobby Weber's will thrive. Thanks for many years of support and to many more years of fun in this hobby.
Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Products catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the United States, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, postal mail or over the Internet.
Shipping And Handling Shipping and handling is figured based on a percentage of your total. Continental US orders up to $60.00 are charged $6.00 shipping and handling. Orders over $60.00 are charged 10% of the cost. To figure shipping for orders sent to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and APO Addresses, double the shipping prices for the continental US. For international orders, triple the shipping costs of the continental US. Due to varying shipping costs for shipping overseas, you will be charged a base of a 30% shipping/handling fee which does not necessarily the cover actual shipping /handling costs. In this event, you will be billed the additional charges to cover actual shipping/handling.For large shipments we can ship freight collect via Burlington Air Express plus a handling fee of 8%. Exact shipping/handling charges can not be known until the items are packed and weighed.

Any order shipped Next Day, 2nd Day, or Third Day will be billed those additonal charges on top of the regular shipping/handling charges. Drop Ship charges to a different address other than your charge card billing address will be $1.50.
Delivery Schedule At Weber's, we strive to keep all items in stock. Orders are usually shipped via UPS or Priority Mail. Please allow about a week for delivery once your order leaves our warehouse.
Back Orders We very seldom have to back order an item. If for some reason we are out of something for a few days, we will ship what we have in stock and send out your back order as soon as it arrives. If we see that something will take longer, we will not bill you for it, notify you of that decision, and let you reorder that item on your next order.
Tax Charges For orders to be shipped within Texas 8.25% tax is added. All other orders are tax free and you should click the exempt button to reduce tax to zero .
Credit Card Security We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web server. Your browser will NOT show a secure transaction symbol such as the "closed lock" on Netscape. This is because our software uses JAVA encryption that by-passes the security features built into the browser.
Guarantee We take pride in our products. We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied call us at 817-441-1518 for a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of your invoice. You will need a copy of your receipt for returns or exchanges. We will credit your charge card, credit your account or send you a refund depending on your original method of payment. (Shipping/Handling charges are not refundable).

Returns within 30 days of purchase/with receipt & RA#-No Restocking Fee

Returns after 30 days are not accepted.

No items can be accepted for return or exchange without a copy of your receipt and an RA number. Any deviation is subject to a restocking fee.

*****Damage Claims***** must be called in by you to delivering carrier, usually UPS, Postal Service or Burlington.

*****Shortages***** must be reported to us within seven (7) days of receipt.
